Should type 316 stainless steel castings be sandblasted before powder coating, or can they be chemically etched? Should the parts be pre-heated in an oven before coating?
Do you have any suggestions for a chemical-resistant powder coating (preferably fluorinated) that is conductive or static dissipative and can cover stainless steel plates?
We are thinking of going to a clear powder coating over our polished brass hardware components. What is the preferred method of stripping the powder off of rejects?
