Aluminum Anodizers Council Names Chairperson

The Aluminum Anodizers Council (ACC) has elected Janette Courtney, Division Environmental, Health and Safety Director of Bonnell Aluminum (Newnan, Ga.), to the position of Chair of the association. Courtney has been on the AAC Board of Directors since 2015 and currently chairs the Government Affairs and Advocacy Committee.
Courtney has been with Bonnell Aluminum since 2013, serving as the Newnan, Ga. plant Environmental Manager until 2016, then as Division Environmental Director until 2018, and currently as Division EHS Director.
Additional appointments to the AAC Executive Committee include Jon Ledin of AaCron, Inc. (Minneapolis, Minn.) as Vice Chairman of the Council; Todd Hamilton of Southern Aluminum Finishing (Atlanta, Ga.) as Immediate Past Chairman; and Jeff Henderson was re-elected to the non-voting position of AAC President. In addition, three members were newly elected to the AAC Board of Directors: John Thornton of Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Ca.) as a Firm Director; Tej Patel of Techevon, LLC (Chicago, Ill.) as a Supplier Director, and Mary Oakley of Bright Aluminum Technology (Leland, N.C.) as a Professional Director.
The four remaining Directors continue their current Board terms, including Vance Jones, Firm Director from Easton Technical Products in Salt Lake City, UT. Casey Miller, Firm Director from Spectrum Aluminum Finishing in Muskego, WI, Robert Laduron, Firm Director from Linetec in Wausau, WI, and Linda Newman, Supplier Director from Quaker Houghton International in Alpharetta, GA.
