Anoplate Completes Phase 1 of Expansion Project

Anoplate (Syracuse, N.Y.) completed Phase 1 of its "Reimagine 459" project. The original 459 complex — a network of six interconnected buildings totaling approximately 42,000 ft.2 — has been its home for decades.
In 2017 the company revamped its facility, introducing state-of-the-art chemical film, chromic anodize, hardcoat anodize and sulfuric anodize processing lines.
To mark the beginning of its "Reimagine 459" initiative, Anoplate unveiled Building 7. This 20,300-ft.2 space represents its latest commitment to Syracuse and its local community.
The facility will streamline its shipping and receiving operations, creating a safer and more efficient product flow into production areas. This expansion will enable the company to upgrade and modernize its existing lines.
Anoplate’s expansion will create more jobs in Syracuse, providing opportunities for both new hires and the current workforce of over 230 employees.
