ASTM Committee Honors ChemQuest Vice Presidents
Two ChemQuest vice presidents are being recognized by ASTM Committee D01 on paint and related coatings, materials and applications.

George Pilcher and David Cocuzzi, vice presidents at ChemQuest, are receiving awards from the ASTM D01 committee on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials and Applications.
Pilcher is receiving a Lifetime Excellence and Appreciation Award for his work on subcommittees D01.53 (Coil Coated Metal) and D01.55 (Factory Applied Coatings on Preformed Products). He joined ChemQuest in 2007, following an extensive career in the coatings industry.
With a strong technical background in coil and extrusion coatings, Pilcher’s expertise includes a comprehensive command of research and technology development, regulatory issues, production methods, technical marketing tools, raw material specification and purchasing, change management and public awareness/education. He has served on the boards of numerous industry organizations and committees; speaks regularly at international events; and has published numerous articles, editorials and papers in industrial, technical and scientific journals.
Cocuzzi, who joined ChemQuest in 2015, is receiving an Award of Appreciation. He has built decades of experience in formulating a variety of industrial coatings, with a strong emphasis in the area of coil coatings. Cocuzzi has served on the board of several professional associations and committees, including ASTM subcommittee D01.53 (Coil Coated Metal), the National Coil Coatings Association and the Cool Roof Coating Council. He also serves as a technical director for the National Coil Coatings Association.
