Axalta Named Preferred Partner in China by Mercedes-Benz
Partners since 2013, Mercedes Benz certifies Axalta as the preferred partner in China until 2024

Axalta Coating Systems (Houston, Texas), a liquid and powder coating company, has been certified as the 2021-2024 Preferred Partner in China by Mercedes-Benz Aftermarket. As a preferred partner, Axalta will provide its premium refinish brand coating Spies Hecker to Mercedes-Benz’s collision repair dealer shops and repair facilities in China.
Axalta will also continue supplying Spies Hecker and Standox to the Mercedes-Benz network in eight Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets. The company states that customers in the region will continue to have access to Axalta’s value-added services such as digital color matching and automated color mixing, the single visit application waterborne system, and other customized solutions and training for technicians in the region their dealer shops and repair facilities.
Partners since 2013, Axalta and Mercedes Benz are working closely to create an era of performance and sustainability in the automotive sector by developing and delivering superior products and world-class customer service to refinish the industry in China.
Axalta is committed to working with its customers to develop more sustainable coating solutions that reduce energy use, emissions, water use and waste from its production, as well as customers’ production. In 2020, Axalta launched its new waterborne clearcoat solution in China. With the introduction of this eco-friendlier clearcoat, Axalta’s refinish customers have access to a comprehensive sustainable coating solution.
