CCAI Announces Industrial Finishing Safety Seminar
Chemical Coaters Association International’s Industrial Finishing Safety Seminar will take place April 5 & 6, 2022 in Elgin, Ill.
The Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI, Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) has announced it will hold an Industrial Finishing Safety Seminar April 5 & 6, 2022 in Elgin, Ill. The seminar will focus on NFPA 33, the Standard for Spray Application Using Flammable or Combustible Materials. CCAI says attendees will learn critical information on how to safely operate an industrial finishing line.
Seminar presenter and finishing consultant Rich Saddler says, “NFPA 33 provides the foundation for designing, building, and operating a finishing system which is safe and effective. This class will cover the entire standard and allow participants to understand the details and ask questions.”
Topics covered in the workshop include general safety requirements & construction/design, electrical and electrostatic spray equipment, ventilation, storage handling and distribution, fire protection, operations, maintenance and training, drying and curing, powder coating and an Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) panel. Attendees will also benefit from the opportunity to connect with professionals in industrial finishing safety.
