ChemQuest Makes Team Organizational Changes
ChemQuest Group promotes Edye Fox Abrams to vice president of business development and marketing, and hires Jean Guillaume as director.
The ChemQuest Group — a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimization, technology development, market intelligence and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry — has named Edye Fox Abrams vice president, business development and marketing, and added Jean Luc Guillaume as director.
Fox Abrams has been with ChemQuest since 2015. Her new role expands on her previous responsibilities as vice president of business development. With this change, she has the responsibility for the development and execution of the firm’s global marketing strategy, while also identifying and capturing opportunities for revenue and strategic growth. She is also leading key business initiatives, client projects and communications.
A primary objective of Fox Abrams’ is fostering the firm’s base business in markets where it is well known — particularly coatings, adhesives, sealants and other formulated industrial products — while also expanding opportunities for the firm’s burgeoning segments, such as additive manufacturing, composites, plastics, consumer products, cleaners, personal care and fragrance.

ChemQuest Group is also bringing Jean Luc Guillaume on as director. In this role, Guillaume supports business development, key client projects and market intelligence. He has expertise in strategic segments which are part of ChemQuest’s core knowledge base and growth trajectory, such as specialty polymers, composites and coatings. He has nearly four decades of experience in the specialty chemicals and materials industry in roles related to management, R&D and marketing.
By hiring Guillaume, ChemQuest says it hopes to better support its clients with his knowledge of epoxies, composites and coatings. With his experience in the technologies and trends relevant to construction, transportation, energy, infrastructure and consumer goods, Guillaume says he is excited to contribute to ChemQuest’s future ventures.
