David Beamish, President of DeFelsko, Passes
Beamish led company through significant growth, and served as a leader in the inspection equipment industry.
David Beamish, president of DeFelsko Corporation, died Nov. 4, 2019. When he joined DeFelsko, it was a small distributor and manufacturer of testing instrumentation with fewer than 10 employees. During Beamish’s time at DeFelsko, he was responsible for its worldwide sales and distribution channels, while contributing to new product development and associated marketing initiatives, and led the company through significant growth.
He chaired and participated in many industry committees, including ASTM, SSPC and NACE, and actively worked to improve the standards and processes of the industry for the benefit of all stakeholders.
