Hubbard-Hall has appointed Aaron Mambrino as chief operating officer (COO) and executive vice president of the company. Mambrino, a 20-year industry veteran, takes over from Gerry Mastropietro, who will retire after 41 years with the company at the end of 2024.

Mambrino joined Hubbard-Hall 1 year ago as CFO, leading the finance team and added supply chain and customer experience to her responsibilities in June. As COO, she will add direct responsibility for all company operations, including the company’s headquarters in Waterbury, Connecticut, and branches in South Carolina, Massachusetts and Michigan.

Previously, Mambrino served as the COO with Dymax Corp., a specialty chemical manufacturer. During her time as an executive, the company grew over 400% and expanded into several countries. Over Mambrino’s 20 years with the company, she held various positions, including CFO, president Americas, and global COO.

“I am thrilled to assume this role at a pivotal time in the company’s trajectory. We have completed two successful acquisitions in the last 12 months and have an ambitious plan to streamline our distribution and manufacturing operations. With the exceptional team of customer focused individuals at Hubbard-Hall, I’m energized and look forward to our future.” Mambrino says.

Mambrino received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a MBA. She serves on the boards of Hartford Healthcare NW Region, Torrington Savings Bank and Torrington Savings Bank Foundation.

“Aaron is definitely someone you want in the foxhole with you,” says Molly Kellogg, CEO and president of Hubbard-Hall. “She is respected in the community and has a deserved reputation for professionalism, drive and leadership. In her short time at Hubbard-Hall, she’s had an outsized impact. Also, I’m beyond grateful for Gerry’s incredible years of service at Hubbard-Hall and am thrilled that he will serve as chief of Capital Projects and Compliance through 2024. Nobody knows our company better and his experience will help us calibrate for the future.”
