PCI Names 2023 Board of Directors, Executive Officers
The next individuals serving on PCI's board of directors and as executive officers have been selected.

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) 2023 board of directors and executive officers have been elected. PCI says it values the support of its member companies and is fortunate to have the leadership of individuals serving on the board for the year.
Shelley Verdun will serve as president. She is business manager for powder coatings, Americas region at PPG. Tom Whalen will serve as vice president. He is the vice president, sales and marketing at TCI Powder Coatings. Bob Cregg will serve as secretary/treasurer and he is business director, North America at Covestro Coating Resins The past president is Chris Merritt, Gema North America vice president, Gema USA.
“I am looking forward to working with the 2023 PCI Board of Directors on our mission to promote and grow the powder coating market,” says PCI Executive Director Kevin Coursin. “We are lucky to have three past board members who have been re-elected and one brand-new board member. Their guidance and planning for improving all the PCI programs and initiatives will be greatly appreciated.”
PCI also welcomes board member Tabitha McLeish, global marketing director of powder, general industrial coatings at Sherwin-Williams Co.
“As a newly elected PCI board member, I am very excited for the opportunity to share my passion about powder, help bring together powder coating industry professionals to exchange ideas and develop solutions, and contribute to PCI’s mission of communicating the sustainability, durability and cost-efficiency benefits of powder coating technology to the industry,” McLeish says.
Continuing their commitment on the PCI Board of Directors for 2023, the following individuals provide support and service to benefit the powder coating industry on every level: David Flatten, president and CEO, Inland Powder Coating; Teddy Piepkow, Central US and Canada powder sales manager, Nordson Corp.; Marty Sawyer, CEO, Trimac Industrial Systems; John Sudges, sales manager, Midwest Finishing Systems Inc.; Mike Withers, architectural segment leader, Axalta Coating Systems; and Mark Ziehm, senior technology manager, Henkel Corp.
