Uyemura’s Pat Valentine earned a doctoral degree in quality systems management from the New England College of Business. Valentine is manager of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement, and is a Six Sigma master black belt. Valentine joined Uyemura in 2015, leading the company’s continuous improvement program. His dissertation, A Study of Critical Success Factors for ISO 9001 and Lean Six Sigma in The North American Printed Circuit Board Industry, evaluated success factors for implementing and sustaining ISO 9001 and Lean Six Sigma in the printed circuit board industry using canonical correlation and other analysis techniques.
