Coventya 3S Technology Replaces Conventional Metal Anodes
Coventya’s 3S technology is designed to replace conventional metal anodes with size-selective membrane anodes.
Coventya’s 3S technology is designed to replace conventional metal anodes, such as nickel or steel, with size-selective membrane anodes for the company’s Performa alkaline zinc-nickel processes. According to the company, complex agents and other organic constituents of the electrolyte cannot migrate through the membrane, thereby preventing oxidation. At the same time, carbonates and sulfates are continuously removed with the caustic soda anolyte. The product is said to be especially suited for rack and barrel applications.
