Met-Chem manufactures filter presses and clarifiers designed to meet specific water filtration requirements.
Met-Chem manufactures filter presses and clarifiers designed to meet specific water filtration requirements. Filter presses include automatic units with air-driven hydraulic closing pumps and pressure gages; manual units with two-stage hand pumps; heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders for press opening and closing; PolyPro-gasketed recessed plates for leak-free operation; air-blown manifold piping for air drying filter cakes; and automatic units with an air-line filter, oiler, regulator and gage.
Used for solids settling, the company’s inclined parallel plate clarifiers are constructed of carbon steel with a coal tar epoxy lining on the interior and epoxy coating on the exterior. Internal plate packs are set at 60 degrees for optimum settling and are constructed of a coal-tar-epoxy-coated steel shell with plastic plates.Related Content
