No-Drip Atomizing Nozzles Eliminate Waste, Finish Problems
Exair’s 1/8 NPT No Drip external-mix atomizing spray nozzles mix liquid and air outside the nozzle and allow the air and liquid flows to be adjusted independently, and offer the added benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when compressed air is shut off.

Post-spray drips waste expensive coatings, chemicals or water, and can ruin product function on sealing or mating surfaces. Drips can also ruin the appearance of painted or coated finishes. These nozzles eliminate these problems, the company says.
The nozzles are available in round, narrow-angle flat fan and wide-angle flat fan liquid patterns, and with 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 NPT inlets with a variety of liquid flow values to suit different applications. They are designed for pressure-fed applications in which precise liquid flow is needed and can be used on liquids with a viscosity greater than 300 centipoise. The nozzles also are fully adjustable to minimize air and liquid consumption and have interchangeable liquid and air caps.
Applications include painting, coating, rinsing, cooling, quenching, wetting (moistening), dust control and humidification.
