Gizmo Engineering (Phelps, N.Y.) has unveiled a pH controller with alarm built in. The company says this is not simply an “output” that needs electronics work to make it useful, but a pH controller designed from the ground up to include an alarm. Gizmo claims it designed the solution to aid in processes where pH cannot stray out of a proper range.
The unit reportedly is easy to set, and the alarm points are separate from the control points. A total of 4 points allows total flexibility. When an alarm does sound, the buzzer is easily silenced with convenient 22mm button on front — no need to go into submenus on the controller module to figure out how to silence. If the pH isn't corrected in 30 minutes, the alarm repeats.
Waterproof housing, stack light indicates the status and there are even some pump control buttons to allow convenient control of your acid and caustic pumps.
