SASSC liquid-cooled DC power conversion systems from Process Electronics Corp. (PEC) are designed for a range of surface finishing applications, including electroplating, electropainting, anodizing and galvanizing. All circuitry and components are environmentally protected in sealed cabinets, making these rectifiers well-suited for corrosive environments.
The rectifiers also feature two-stage cooling systems designed to prolong the life of sub-assemblies and components. In the closed-loop first stage, a coolant continuously bathes components. The second stage automatically maintains the temperature of the coolant while a liquid-to-water heat exchanger removes heat using an outside fresh water source. This technology also prevents the fresh water from coming in contact with electrical components, and minimizes consumption and maintenance requirements, the company says.Related Content
