Film Thickness Tolerance

Is it possible for products to be powder coated within a range of 80-90 micron thickness. The best I can get is between 70 and 90 micron.

How to Limit Outgassing on Castings

I cannot find a way to powder coat aluminum castings without severe outgassing and blisters. Does the temperature have a role to play versus line speed? Will higher temperature emit more gas from the aluminum casting?

Orange Peel on Wheels

I powder coat alloy wheels. When the primer coat is applied and cured, the finish has a lot of orange peel. I preheat the wheels to 212° before applying the primer. Any suggestions on how to limit the orange peel look?

Discolored Metallic Powder Finish

We have a powder coat finish for our railing products that has been discoloring in the mountain states region (Colorado, Utah and Wyoming). The finish is textured metallic with a goldish tint, but it has been turning a darker color and rubs off upon touching. Is there anything that can be added to the powder coat or applied after the powder coating process that will inhibit UV rays and the discoloration of our product?
