Ace Anodizing and Impregnating Expanding Operations
Plant expansion is underway with a projected move in date sometime in the first quarter of 2018. The addition will bring total plant square footage to upwards of 80,000 sq. ft.
Ace Anodizing & Impregnating in Hillside, Illinois says their long awaited plant expansion is underway with a projected move in date sometime in the first quarter of 2018. The addition will bring total plant square footage to upwards of 80,000 sq. ft.
The expansion will allow for the addition of long length chemical polishing capabilities on aluminum for parts up to 282 inches. That and additional dock space will allow for streamlined product flow and increases in efficiency and throughput, says Mike Battaglia, vice president of sales and marketing at Ace.
The compamy also expects to greatly expand their powder coating operation in 2018, as well as add a new cutting department to better serve the lineal extrusion market.
“With the addition of the chemical polishing capability to our large anodizing line, a new extrusion cutting department and a more efficient plant layout, we can better serve our existing clients and fill yet another need in the marketplace,” Battaglia says.
Ace’s capabilities include anodizing services, chromate conversion, powder coating services and resin impregnation. Ace is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Visit acemetalfinishing.com
