The Chicago chapter of the National Association for Surface Finishing will again host the Midwest Sustainability Summit, September 19-20, at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
This year’s featured speaker, former F-100 fighter pilot Guy Gruters, speaks positively and enthusiastically on lessons learned during the more than five years he spent as a prisoner of war in North Vietnamese Communist prison camps, on the more than 400 combat missions he flew in South and North Vietnam before his capture, and on his business and family experiences after release.
Other scheduled speakers include Frank Altmayer, Deanne Demarco and Matt Kirchner.
The event starts on September 19 with a welcome reception at the hotel, then the next day will feature breakfast, speakers and lunch, followed by an “Evening Under the Stars” at Yerkes Observatory.
