The ECOAT24 Conference has something to offer electrocoating professionals of all levels of experience. Whether attendees are new to the industry, considering adding an ecoat line or have years of industry experience, they will find education and insights to help make informed decisions. Beginners will discover the value ecoating can add to their finishing operations, while experienced finishers will gain insights and explore ways to improve processes.

ECOAT Conference exhibits are unlike the traditional trade show experience, with a casual and relaxed evening dedicated to exhibitors and networking. The event will be held April 2-4 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, Florida, and is presented by The Electrocoat Association and Products Finishing.

By listening to speaker presentations, conversing with suppliers while browsing exhibitor booths and networking with colleagues during the welcome reception, golf tournament, and leadership breakfast, attendees will have lots of time to learn how to maximize productivity, quality and profitability at their companies.

“Participation in ECOAT24 promises informative educational sessions, connection to industry colleagues and opportunities for fun while learning in Orlando,” says Karen McGlothlin, executive director of The Electrocoat Association and conference director of ECOAT24. “Everyone can learn from our experts on various topics, making sure no matter what type of participant you are to the industry — supplier or end user, owner or line leader — you will find something of benefit for you and your business.”

The conference’s schedule includes about 30 technical sessions from expert speakers and panels covering topic tracks such as Advancements in Paint, Developments in Testing, Ancillary Systems and Equipment, Innovations in Manufacturing, Sustainability, and Trends in Pretreatment.

Keynote speakers include Andrew Carroll from PPG, Gregory Risch from Gibbs Die Casting, and Edward Evans from Axalta. Carroll will speak about improving sustainability of protective coatings. Risch will discuss intentional leadership and Evans presents on future environmental challenges.

Leaders and executives will have the chance to network over breakfast on April 3 and discuss the trends and challenges they face.

Preconference activities include an ECOAT Boot Camp 101 designed to offer an introduction to the process (or a helpful refresher), setting the stage for  two days of technical presentations and panel discussions on the basics of the technology, equipment, process stages and material handling involved in an ecoat line.

For those eager to hit the links and reconnect with colleagues, the official ECOAT Golf Outing will take place on April 2 at the picturesque, PGA-quality course at ChampionsGate.

Also, don’t miss Exhibit Night — a networking event designed to provide one-stop technology sourcing. Leading industry suppliers host this event with products and solutions to enhance ecoating operations. Complete with refreshments and entertainment, Exhibit Night gives attendees the opportunity to meet with suppliers and experts in a no-pressure, fun atmosphere to discuss specific product and process issues.

Register by January 16 to save $50 on the full conference registration fee. Visit ecoat.events.
