The Protech Group Acquires Excalibur Paints & Coatings
The Canadian company acquires third company in pandemic growth strategy

The Protech Group (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) a coating, paint, and specialty materials manufacturer announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire Excalibur Paints & Coatings Ltd (Wichita Falls, Texas).
Manufacturing equipment will now be relocated within existing Protech Group facilities in the United States. Excalibur Paints formulations and products will be integrated under the Protech Group portfolio of liquid coatings brands.
Excalibur Paints is a protective coatings development and manufacturing company specializing in producing numerous unique, special and environmentally friendly products. The company’s product line includes Epoxy Systems, Alkyd Coatings, Corrosive-inhibitive Primers, Polyurethanes, and Chemical Resistant linings.
"This acquisition strengthens our liquid coatings capabilities,” highlights David Ades, President of the Protech Group, “It allows us to expand our customer base, keep up with the growing demand, and offer a great depth of solutions to them.”
Acquisitions are a continuous part of the growth strategy at the Protech Group. Despite the global pandemic, this is the third acquisition within the last year for the company. The Protech Group recently acquired the coatings division of ACG Industrie (France) and the liquid coatings manufacturer, Winslow Browning Inc. (USA).
