Updated Brand Simplifies Company's Offerings to Light Industrial Customers
Updated PPG brand seeks to simplify the company's offerings to light industrial customers through liquid coatings, powder coatings, allied products and service.
PPG Versolon solutions is the resulting brand from the merger between PPG’s TrueFinish brand and Commercial Performance Coatings product line. The result is one streamlined solution servicing a range of applications, such as agricultural and construction equipment, trailers, wheels and sheds. The brand is designed to simplify PPG’s offerings for light industrial customers (including liquid coatings, powder coatings and allied products) as well as provide good service.
The company says its team of PPG Versolon experts work alongside OEMs to understand product needs and requirements to deliver coatings and finishes through a variety of distribution channels. Local PPG Versolon specialists equip customers with personalized support, local logistics management and delivery service.

As part of the new suite of PPG Versolon, customers have streamlined access to a wide range of innovative and durable PPG coatings designed to deliver protection against aggressive environments, including:
- Liquid coatings created to maximize protection while creating efficient production, speed and performance.
- Powder coatings with over 300 in-stock RAL colors, as well as a large specialty-effect and ultradurable library.
- Solvents and allied products, including a variety of painting supplies, equipment and accessories to meet customer’s needs and a full range of allied products such as pretreatment, adhesives, sealants and aerosols.
With more manufacturers dependent on speed and quality of standard industrial color, PPG Versolon provides a wide range of preformulated and in-demand colors for coatings applications. This extends to accurate matches, custom colors and a variety of color tools and support that includes the latest in digital technology.
