Testing Machines Coefficient of Friction Tester Adds Peel Testing Capability
Testing Machines Inc. has added peel testing capabilities to its 32-76e coefficient of friction (COF) tester, which uses advanced digital force signaling and high-speed data acquisition software for precision and repeatability.
Testing Machines Inc. has added peel testing capabilities to its 32-76e coefficient of friction (COF) tester, which uses advanced digital force signaling and high-speed data acquisition software for precision and repeatability.
The new peel-testing capabilities include 180-degree peel and T-peel measurements. The 180-degree Peel Fixture measures the release strength of a label or peeling strength of an adhesive substrate, while the T-Peel Fixture is designed to measure the adhesive force of a heat seal or adhesive-bonded substrate. Other enhancements to the COF/peel tester include a color touchscreen display, GraphMasterPro PC software package, and an intuitive user interface for easy navigation and test storage.
