Smaller Systems Designed for In-House PVD Coating
Vapor Technologies has introduced a line of smaller, lower-cost physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating machines designed to allow manufacturers to bring PVD operations in house and coat parts more cost-effectively.
Vapor Technologies has introduced a line of smaller, lower-cost physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating machines designed to allow manufacturers to bring PVD operations in house and coat parts more cost-effectively, as well as improve quality and product differentiation.
The VT-i Series includes the VT-500i, VT-1000i, and VT-1500i (and 3000i) systems. The VT-500i is the most compact of the series and is suited for small-batch manufacturing operations, although it can also coat larger parts. The VT-1000i is designed for medium-volume operations; it shares the small footprint of the VT-500i system, but with six times the capacity. The high-capacity VT-1500i provides approximately 70 percent of the throughput of the company’s largest production coating system, but in a compact footprint. The highest-capacity VT-3000i system is the updated version of the VT-3000, with a smaller footprint, modern components and easier maintenance.Related Content
