UPA Technology's XRF2020 X-ray Reduces Tube Use
Unit only energizes the X-Ray tube during measurements to increase tube life.
UPA Technology’s XRF2020 systems measure plating thickness and offer materials analysis while only energizing the X-ray tube during measurements. According to the company, this greatly reduces tube use and increases tube life. The XRF2020 X-ray series has four chamber models for plating thickness measurement on a wide variety of part sizes or shapes. SDD and pin diode detectors are available on every model as well as dual and vacuum systems. The XRF2020N model features a large chamber with a 9” height capacity for measuring large or odd-shaped parts. ISO-17025 calibration services and system diagnostics can be provided either on site or remotely via internet connection for convenience and cost savings.
