Gizmo Engineering’s process temperature alarm has been upgraded to include temperature control. The temperature controller shows the tank temperature with a digital display while controlling a steam solenoid. Temperature status is continuously indicated with a stack light. If the temperature goes out of range, it produces a loud alarm. A button on the front of the device silences the buzzer. The buzzer snooze alarm sounds again after 30 minutes if the temperature is still incorrect.
Gizmo Engineering says the temperature controller is easy to set and operate. The device is also waterproof and suitable for wash down duty. In addition, the temperature controller includes other outputs, such as a 15A relay output to shut off equipment or communicate temperature events. It also includes an RS-485 output. Also included with the temperature controller is a thermowell and a PTFE jacketed thermocouple. The enclosure measures 6 × 6", providing a compact device for temperature monitoring.
