The Grieve Corp. marks 75 years in business. It began in 1949 as a small job shop in Chicago, Ill., and now occupies a 100,000-ft.2 facility in Round Lake, Illinois.
Grieve ovens are used for a variety of heat treating applications such as drying gold ore samples, stress relieving metal automotive parts and curing the coating on military aircraft canopies. They serve industries including aerospace, mining, pharmaceuticals, construction, automotive and energy.
Grieve can customize heat treating equipment to the customer’s unique requirement. The company’s engineers can design the right equipment for the job. An extensive line of standard equipment is also available.
Doug Grieve and Frank Calabrese are committed to quality products begun by their fathers, George Price Grieve (founder) and Pat Calabrese (former president). Tony Caringella, who joined the company in 2019 as COO, was recently named president.
